terms and conditions of service provision
I. general provisions
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter – the Rules) govern the provision of Origami Movement Studio services, use of the website, reservations, payments, and memberships. Services are provided by Origami Movement, UAB, company code 307184100, registered at Didžioji g. 10A-54, Vilnius (hereinafter – the Studio). By using the website origami-movement.lt and/or the Studio’s services, the client confirms that they have read these Rules and undertakes to comply with them.
II. services and reservations
Clients may register for Pilates and other Studio classes via the website origami-movement.lt using the electronic reservation system or on-site at the Studio during the Studio administration’s working hours.
A reservation is considered valid after successful payment online or on-site at the Studio.
The Studio reserves the right to change the class schedule or cancel classes by informing clients in advance using the contact details provided by the client, as well as through the Studio’s digital tools – the website or mobile application.
The physical location and address where services reserved online or in person are provided is Konstitucijos pr. 26, Vilnius, on the first floor of the Forum Palace business center.
Before confirming a reservation online or at the Studio, the client must familiarize themselves with and agree to the Studio’s service provision rules, internal rules, and personal data processing policy. When reserving Studio services online, the client is provided access to this information via links included in the contact details form. The client’s acknowledgment and consent are confirmed by checking the boxes next to the statements:
“I have read and agree to the Studio’s service provision rules and the Studio’s internal rules.” and
“I have read the privacy policy and personal data processing policy.”
When making a reservation through the Studio administration, the client must review and agree to the Studio’s service provision conditions, internal rules, and personal data processing policy on-site by signing the relevant forms in paper or electronic format.
III. payments and memberships
Payments for services may be made by card online (via Wix Payments, Google Pay, Apple Pay) or at the Studio by card through the administration’s card reader. Membership validity periods, renewal, and suspension conditions are specified in the description of the membership selected by the client on the website. All memberships offered on the Studio’s website are subject to a minimum 3-month commitment period – i.e., by selecting and paying for a membership plan, the client automatically enters into an agreement with the Studio, the term of which is calculated as 3 months from the date of the first membership payment.
By purchasing a membership, the client receives a discount compared to the standard price of single visits (or visit packages). The discount applies only if the client maintains the membership for the minimum commitment period of 3 months.
If the client terminates the membership before the minimum commitment period expires, the client must compensate the Studio for the portion of the discount received for the past or current membership months.
The discount compensation is calculated as the difference between the monthly membership price paid by the client and the standard price of a visit package (corresponding to the number of monthly visits included in the membership) valid on the cancellation date, multiplied by the number of past or current membership months.
The discount compensation is not remuneration for services and is not subject to VAT – it is a compensatory amount for lost revenue of the Studio.
Example: A client with a membership of 1 visit per week (4 per month) terminated the membership in the second month.
Monthly membership price excl. VAT: €90.91
Visit package price (without membership) excl. VAT: €99.17
Discount compensation: (€99.17 – €90.91) × 2 months = €16.52
6. After the minimum 3-month membership commitment period ends, the membership is automatically renewed for an indefinite period at the regular monthly price valid on the renewal date. The client may terminate the automatically renewed membership at any time by notifying the Studio by email or phone. If the client decides to renew the membership after termination, the initial 3-month commitment period applies again.
7. The client may suspend the membership by informing the Studio using the provided contact details. Membership suspension is possible up to 3 times per year from the membership purchase date, for a total of up to 45 days per year. The minimum duration of one suspension is 7 days.
8. A client who has purchased a new membership and has not yet started using it (has not registered for any Studio classes or used any other services or content included in the membership) has the right to inform the Studio and suspend the membership until the desired actual start (effective) date. This initial postponement of the effective date is not counted toward the 45-day limit described in point 7 of this section.
9. Membership suspension or postponement of the effective date is carried out within 24 hours of submitting such a request to the Studio.
IV. discounts and special offers
The Studio may apply discounts, special offers, or loyalty programs. Discounts may not be combined unless stated otherwise. The validity periods and conditions of discounts are published on the website or at the Studio. The Studio reserves the right to change or discontinue discounts without prior notice.
V. cancellation and refund policy
The client may cancel a reservation no later than 12 hours before the start of the class – in this case, the full amount paid is refunded. If a reservation is cancelled less than 12 hours before the scheduled start of the service, the paid amount is not refunded.
A consumer who purchases a membership online has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the date of purchase without providing a reason and without additional charges, provided that no service (visit) has been used during this period and no reservation has been made that is cancelled less than 12 hours before the start of the service.
In cases where the membership plan includes access to digital content available immediately after payment (e.g., participation in members-only community chats on the website, etc.), the client loses the right to a refund if the membership is cancelled within 14 days.
If the consumer begins using the service within the 14-day period, membership termination is possible under the conditions and cancellation fees set out in these Rules.
VI. personal data protection (gdpr)
The Studio processes clients’ personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Personal data (name, surname, contact information, payment data) is used for reservation and service administration. Clients have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their data by contacting info@origami-movement.lt. Clients may review personal data processing details on a separate page titled “Privacy Policy and Personal Data Processing Policy” on the Studio’s website.
VII. liability and internal rules
Before using the Studio’s services, the client must familiarize themselves with and agree to comply with the Studio’s internal rules. The Studio is not responsible for deterioration of the client’s health or injuries if they occurred due to the client’s fault, failure to follow instructions, or failure to disclose relevant health conditions.
VIII. final provisions
1. The Studio has the right to amend these Rules by publishing an updated version on the website origami-movement.lt. The Rules take effect from the date of publication. Any disputes are resolved through negotiations, and if no agreement is reached, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
